Thank you to Paul and the 45 volunteers that make events like this with Libraries Without Walls happen! Paul is the founder of Libraries Without Walls bringing books, creativity, digital learning, and STEM education directly into underserved communities, beyond classrooms and into open spaces, schools, and wherever children live. It started in 2017 when Paul was a volunteer teacher, read more about his organization Feed Ghana, how it started and all the amazing things they are doing!
When I say my heart is full...to see the kids' smiles and hear them read my books, to hear their curiosity as they asked questions and see their talent as they painted, my heart was singing. I read "Nacho Loves Salsa" and the message of love and friendship was clear. Being proud of who you are and standing LOUD and PROUD was clear. So happy to have been a part of this. Thank you Paul for ALL that you do and thank you for welcoming me to Ghana and to the Stages Academy. Thank you Jill and Charity for taking the journey with me.
