I had an opportunity to interview with the amazing Derrick Jakolby Washington a.k.a. Uncle Kolby author of "Son, You Matter" and "A Special Little Girl", "Son You Matter! 25 Powerful Aspirations for Black and Brown Boys" and "A Special Little Girl! Affirmations to Color By".  I talked about the process of writing and self-publishing my books, why including diversity and social emotional learning is so important to me and I shared some resources for those who may be looking to self publish. Special shout outs to those who inspired me and those I have learned from along the way.
